Medical negligence contains:

1. Making a mistake during surgery
2. Giving a wrong drug
3. Making a wrong diagnosis
4. Delaying a diagnosis unnecessarily.            

Not doing things that should be done also constitutes medical negligence, such as:

1. Not giving treatment one needed
2. Not getting consent (agreement) to treatment
3. Not warning about the risks of a particular type of treatment.
